The Ross County Network for Children

This years Speak Out was themed "It Takes a Village".  Local candidates were invited.   Candidates had 20 minutes each to speak & take questions.  The initial question posed to the candidates via invitation was: “What as a candidate, do you have to offer to improve the safety & welfare of children in this community?” The following candidates were in attendance:

Dustin Proehl:  Council At Large
Lois Tropea:  Council At Large
Jeremy Siberell:  Fifth Ward Council
Bill Bonner:  Fifth Ward Council
Bruce Arnold: Council President
Rebekah Valentich:  Second Ward Council
Daniel Evans:  Third Ward Council 

Other speakers included:                                                                                        Jim Owen:  The urgency for community response concerning children.
Linda Wilson:  Director of the upcoming Caring Hearts Homeless Shelter:  Children & homelessness.
